Days 1-3
Flights long, but uneventful in a good way. Double rainbow welcome in New Zealand. First day unpacked & adjusted to the time change. Cooked breakfast and attempted dining alfresco, but too cold--a high of 52 degrees in June feels just weird! Laura has 3 massive patios with beautiful views. Spent the weekend with family. Enjoyed a delicious lamb cutlet dinner with the in-laws, visited a gin distillery, did some shopping at the local market, rode the iconic Puffy Billy steam train, and spent Sunday at the family egg farm. Best traditional Hungarian meal ever!
